1. I have been studying Alfie Green’s
blog. I wanted to review his blog and I
think he is very creative. I like the
background of his blog because I think
it stands it out and can capture the
audience of his blog. I think this is key
within a blog to attract the examiner
and make your blog individual. I can
take ideas from this to try and make
my blog layout aL olootk imngo raet chroewat ivAelf.ie evaluates
his preliminary task, it gives me
an idea of how I should evaluate
mine. Alfie evaluates in so much
detail and everything to the last
detail and you can really see he
put time and effort into the
evaluation and that he really
cares that he does well. I can
take a lot from this because I
can look at what Alfie has put
into his evaluation and use this
as a template on how I can be
successful in my evaluation.
I like that Alfie also
showcases his work
from the beginning
of his blog by
including it in the
banner for the blog.
2. Looking at Alfie’s different types of blog.
Throughout his blog he never limited himself
to just text posts. He always try to expand
himself, using pictures, YouTube videos and
audio clips. This makes his blog so much more
interesting to read and explore, because you
have so many options to look at his work. This
is one of the main things I took from Alfie’s
blog to put into my own. I want to make sure
my blog isn’t just information, I want to make
sure it is enjoyable for people to read.
I also looked at Alfie’s planning pages for all his
magazines, I really admire Alfie’s blog, I want to make
sure that I put as much work as he did into his.
Looking at the planning page, you can really see that
Aflie planned every little bit of each task that he did,
to make sure that everything looked how he wanted.
What I will take from this part of his blog is to not
leave any part unplanned, Alfie’s blog has shown that
if you plan and put in the effort you will achieve
success.
Additionally, the labels on Alfie’s
blog make everything look much
more organized. It is neat and tidy.
This is key in a blog so you know
where everything is and you can
find yourself around the blog
easily.
