A terrific plot about two walking wounded struggling for a meaningful relationship as a
couple....plus hot sex! The devil is in the details, and I cared about these characters from the
get-go, even if the initial limo scene was a stretch (*wink*). Her past is revealed earlier and
his is painstakingly slowly revealed, and by the end of this book, his past is still fairly
shrouded in mystery. There's a sequel coming, and I hope to learn more about Gideon, Eva
and especially Eva's self-destructive friend Cary. Three hundred per cent better-written than
the trashy Fifty Shades, and Ms. Day's spelling and grammar was a treat to behold by this
beta. She obviously took pains to read the e-book prior to release. Highly recommended!
