Andaman 7: gaining visibility on the market
I appreciated having a few minutes of quality attention from CIOs. The

VIII Roadshow at HIMSS Liège (Belgium) [02 April 2019] . Thanks to the
eHealth Roadshow we were able to present our solution to a larger
audience. Above that, we enjoyed the discussions after each pitch as we
gained interesting insights in the work of other SMEs. The event was a great
opportunity to extend our network during the networking session. We had a
good time with interesting discussions with all participants.
Finally, we were featured on a marketplace of approved eHealth apps that
we met during the conference. This was great in order to increase our
visibility on the European Market .
One of the main challenges for us, was to gain enough visibility on the
market. Above that, we had to increase our network in order to not only be
in contact with actors we initially worked with. A validation on the market of
a new product is of significant importance for a quick market uptake. Thus,
we were looking for opportunities to receive feedback on our solution as
well as to gain special customer insights to align our product to the market
needs.

With Andaman7, patients can store all of their health data - privately and
securely - on their smartphone. It is then available to medical research.
Pharma benefit dramatically by reducing the cost of their clinical trials and
hospitals can improve the continuity of care. Patients are in full control and
decide if and who they share data with.

Roadshow in Odense, Denmark helped us to get the first contacts and pitch

also helped me personally to develop my presentation skills as well as to

Achieving the 1st place in the pitching competition pushed us forward and
motivated us to further develop our innovation. The eHealth Hub team did a

Our challenge before joining the eHealth Roadshow in Denmark was how to
get the first customer leads and foothold in the Danish healthcare market.
Furthermore, we wanted to get to know the right people, especially gaining
access to experts could help us in getting to know how the Danish
healthcare system works.

The roadshow was a great opportunity to present our tech solution and get
valuable constructive feedback on how to improve on our delivery model for
the European market.

VII eHealth Roadshow [Cascais, July 2018] “eHealth Hub facilitated
meetings with some key stakeholders in Hospitals from across the EU in one
venue. This provided an opportunity to assess the interest in a solution such
as CliniShift and evaluate what other challenges hospital managers are
facing that are different to the challenges that managers face in markets we
already have a presence in.
This also allowed us to gain insights into other potential competitors in these
EU countries and evaluate their product. This easies strategy and market
entry. We can now focus on those countries where there are real
opportunities.”
Connecting with busy hospital managers both from Ireland and the EU can
be a slow and difficult process. Due to the different market demands
amongst EU countries and considering the size of the European market, it is
challenging to get an understanding of the various workforce issues that
hospitals face in the current climate. It’s also difficult to understand what
existing technologies are in place to help solve these issues. Furthermore,
there are a variety of factors to consider around market entry when you are
attempting to expand into Europe.

CliniShift is a software suite including a Managers Portal & App providing a
platform to enable hospital Managers communicate in real-time with their
own staff to seamlessly book overtime hours & contingency shifts. The
CliniShift software reduces the over reliance on external agency staff
allowing hospitals to reduce costs, ensure continuity of care for patients
while automating a manual process.

Our main goal before the eHealth Roadshow was to get in contact with
possible future clients in the field of social health technologies in Spain and
Portugal. As we are already present in many European countries and some
communities in Spain, Portugal for example was a new market for us. Thus,
we mainly participated in the congress in Cascais. To be in the same room
as experts from all over the world and to exchange experiences and
knowledge was really benefitting for Raisoft.

as well as quality and effectiveness of care. The software is used in multiple
care settings, for example in home and long-term care for elderly, in mental
care for all ages, in assistance for the physically impaired and in preventive
care.

Thanks to the eHealth Roadshow we were able to present our solution to a larger audience. Above that, we enjoyed the discussions after each pitch as we gained interesting insights in the work of other SMEs. The event was a great opportunity to extend our network during the networking session. We had a good time with interesting discussions with all participants. Finally, we were featured on a marketplace of approved eHealth apps that we met during the conference. This was great in order to increase our visibility on the European Market . One of the main challenges for us, was to gain enough visibility on the market. Above that, we had to increase our network in order to not only be in contact with actors we initially worked with. A validation on the market of a new product is of significant importance for a quick market uptake. Thus, we were looking for opportunities to receive feedback on our solution as well as to gain special customer insights to align our product to the market needs. CliniShift: Understanding our Customers The roadshow was a great opportunity to present our tech solution and get valuable constructive feedback on how to improve on our delivery model for the European market. “ “ CliniShift Aimée Madden, Founder & CEO www.clinishift.com Ireland VII eHealth Roadshow [Cascais, July 2018] “eHealth Hub facilitated meetings with some key stakeholders in Hospitals from across the EU in one venue. This provided an opportunity to assess the interest in a solution such as CliniShift and evaluate what other challenges hospital managers are facing that are different to the challenges that managers face in markets we already have a presence in. This also allowed us to gain insights into other potential competitors in these EU countries and evaluate their product. This easies strategy and market entry. We can now focus on those countries where there are real opportunities.” Connecting with busy hospital managers both from Ireland and the EU can be a slow and difficult process. Due to the different market demands amongst EU countries and considering the size of the European market, it is challenging to get an understanding of the various workforce issues that hospitals face in the current climate. It’s also difficult to understand what existing technologies are in place to help solve these issues. Furthermore, there are a variety of factors to consider around market entry when you are attempting to expand into Europe. As we are already present in many European countries and some communities in Spain, Portugal for example was a new market for us. Thus, we mainly participated in the congress in Cascais. To be in the same room as experts from all over the world and to exchange experiences and knowledge was really benefitting for Raisoft. The software is used in multiple care settings, for example in home and long-term care for elderly, in mental care for all ages, in assistance for the physically impaired and in preventive care.
