But even before the fall foliage report comes out, New England local businesses, towns and communities are busy planning their fall events schedules. From bakeries providing fresh baked apple pies, taking a fall foliage road trip, apple picking at local farms, to fall festivals and community events, there is always something to do when visiting New England in the fall season. A favorite fall stop for us, Smolak Farms in North Andover MA plans many type of fall activities and events in addition to their farm stand, petting zoo and country shop. Smolak Farms is a great place to spend a fall day with family and with friends.
