•20% of homeless youth are LGBT – general population

•LGBT homeless youth twice as likely to experience sex
abuse at home before the age of 12
•58.7% of homeless LGBT have been sexually victimized
vs. 33.4% of heterosexual youth
•LGBT homeless youth commit suicide at higher rates
(62%) than heterosexual homeless youth (29%)
