                                            ‘I joined IQPC in 2001 as a Conference Producer, and established the UK
                                            Defence portfolio. After leading a production team for three years, I was
                                              promoted to General Manager overseeing multiple sectors, and then
                                           Managing Director of the whole of the UK business. This truly is a business
                                           where talent and ambition is recognised and cultivated, this is one of the
                                             main reasons why I joined over seven years ago and am still with IQPC

About the position
At IQPC we’re not restricted by layers of management or bureaucracy – we’ve created an environment where ideas

We are seeking Marketing and Business graduates to be part of a team of marketers who will facilitate the
execution of direct-marketing campaigns on a diverse range of strategic business issues.

Job description:
    • Online & non-traditional marketing program management
    • Creation and management of strategic partnerships
    • Management of regional vendors & service providers
    • Responsible for the day-to-day coordination of department’s operational activities

Key areas of responsibility and learning:

    Marketing Campaign Creation Support
    • Construction of analysis; delegate profiling, profit based analysis, booking patterns
    • Calling for media packs, assisting in list research and providing suggestions for new list sources
    • Following up external marketing partners

    Marketing Campaign Implementation
    • Campaign monitoring
    • Updating the marketing budget and revenue details
    • Reconciling campaign activities
    • Maintain marketing partnerships with associations and publications

    Non-Traditional Marketing
    • Preparing and executing fax & email campaigns
    • Sourcing and fulfilling new online diary listings
    • Negotiating and setting up of reciprocal weblinks
    • Search engine marketing

    Working closely with other internal departments
    • Lead Generation - suggesting best possible list for research and building data
    • Database Administration – database audit and maintaining database hygiene
    • Sponsorship - working with conference sponsors; following up for marketing campaigns to their clients
    • Telesales - providing active campaign delegate profiles
    • Conference Logistics Team - assisting with planning for literature distribution and press passes to events


APPLICATION PROCESS

Applying for the Programme
Application for the program is open to all university graduates with a 2:1 Bachelors degree or above. Degrees in
marketing or business related subjects are preferred but not essential as we are more interested in the people than
the paper.

So what do I have to do?
We will need - An up to date copy of your C.V. Include any experience that demonstrates the qualities you think
a good marketer should have, in our current team we have former balloon modelers, mixologists and blueberry
sellers, no job is too random if you think it helped you develop your skill set.
