Responsibilities:
o Develop and oversee edge’s operations in the region, leveraging market
opportunities;
o Be accountable for and manage others to deliver the targets for Asia;
o Establish relevant partnerships and manage relationships with stakeholders;
o Manage the GBA Program in Asia: oversee the strategy; sell the program to target
businesses; select and prepare candidates; cooperate with the global team in
promotion and learning environment for the GBAs.
o Strategize and implement regional learning offerings for young talent;
o Manage Asia’s financial and legal processes;
o Document work materials and networking contacts in internal databases to ensure
knowledge management;
o Contribute to developing edge’s global strategy together with the rest of the edge
team;
o Participate in edge’s reporting structures, including regular virtual and in-person team
meetings;
o Contribute to strategies for revenue generation and edge’s long-term financial
sustainability.
Measures of success for the role:
o Number of GBA placements achieved in Asia;
o Percentage of businesses and GBAs satisfied with the GBA Program;
o Number, quality and relevance of partnerships established;
o Number of people from Asia participating in edge’s learning opportunities;
Background required:
o 2-3 years of work experience;
o Indian nationality (preferred), if an international decides to apply he/she must have a
minimum of 2 years of work experience in Asia and 1 year of Impact Business
experience in Asia;
o 1 year of work experience in Asia in the small and growing business, social business or
impact business field;
o Previous responsibility for the strategic direction of an organization or organizational
unit;

o Experience and previous results in partnership management;
3. o Experience in managing others, both in-person and virtually, to deliver results;
o Experience in managing financial and legal processes;
o Excellent English;
Logistics
o Depending on the candidates availability the role will start between February and
April 2013;
o Location: India (Mumbai, Bangalore or Chennai);
o The selected candidate is expected to travel to London, Asia, within India, and Latin
America;
o Salary to be negotiated during the selection process and will vary according to the
candidate’s experience and location.

Convince 4 people to sit on the board of edge India;
Deliver two trainings at universities in China.
In this scenario you have two National Coordinators, one in India and one in China, and you
