                  The following guidelines will be observed in preparation for students’
            performances:


    Recital     Fee:      $10/student/year*        (non-         Student may have a mandatory Performance

                   Performance opportunities such as recitals, festivals, and auditions have always

            been part of piano study, and any other performing art for that matter. The instructor

            encourages all students to prepare for performances because it builds invaluable skills

            such as: confidence in one’s performance, logical and methodic preparation, poise,

            public appearances, meeting deadlines, self-expression, higher order thinking skills,

            interpreting musical ideas, etc.

            some form or other). The use of technology is especially important to the
            education field to enhance and support learning. As I’ve incorporated the use of
            technology and social media, I’ve discovered that it is a powerful motivational
            tool. I encourage both parents and students (with parental permission) to take a
