1. Evaluate feedback about the new media product and the
advertising campaign
Based on the audience feedback, I got 5 main bits that i can improve on, they are:
1, Based on the audience feedback, he said; that its really good that it works on a mobile
device (Smartphone/Tablet) play on that a bit more. Make a bigger about it being available
on a mobile device.
From this feedback I have made my QR codes in more places, I will put the QR code on
most of my merchandise, On the mug’s, Mouse mat. We will also give out a leaflet with
just a Qr code on, I decided this would be good because it will leave people curious about
what they will find, I'm relying on after they scan the QR code they will play the game. I will
give the leaflets out in relevant places, like outside a game shop, out side a film screening
if it is at all related to our game.
2, Based on the audience feedback, he said;
Explore what we can do with our mouse mat’s,
think about internet cafe’s.
From this feedback I have gone onto google
maps and searched internet cafes in cambridge,
this has given me a number of how many
internet cafes there are in cambridge, there
locations, and information about them including
a contact number. I then called up some of the
cafes and asked them how much it would cost
for me to put mouse mats in there cafe’s 2 said
They would get back to me when there mangier
was available and one caffe said £10 a mouse
matt. I also asked how many computers they have so i know if i will have enough mouse
mats.
3, Based on the audience feedback, he said; Give more information on the competition,
make it more clear what stranded is.
From this feedback I have decided that I will launch a game play video at the same time
the competition is launched, this should then give people an idea about stranded. The clip
will be actual game footage, and i will create a short summary of the game so people
understand about stranded easily.
4, Based on the audience feedback, he said; The magazine article wasn't very clear, he
didn't understand what article we would write in return for them wiring an article for us.
From this feedback I have decided to make it more clear that what i meant is that we
would write an article about the magazine and advertise the magazine for free on our
website where i game is. The advert would be a banner down the right hand side of the
page.
5, Based on the audience feedback, he said; Have to different poster ideas for Stranded
more information about the game.

2. From this feedback I have decided that i will create a few more posters, each poster will
drip feed the readers little bits of information about stranded. I plan to also make them a
limited collection, i will only release a Cretan amount of each poster and it will say limited
addition on.
