Diagnostic Imaging of Patients with Neck Pain: Chiropractic
ImplicationsPresented by Cynthia PetersonSaturday 2nd March
2013Frankfurt Lindner Hotel & Residence Main PlazaGERMANY
Neck pain is one of the most common reasons for patients to
present to chiropractors and diagnostic imaging is included in the
diagnostic work-up for many of these patients. This seminar
provides an interactive, case-based, evidence-based update not only
on routine radiographs, but MRI and CT findings and the indications
for use of these advanced imaging modalities. Abnormal imaging
findings related to the patient’s complaints will be the main focus.
However, significant as well as insignificant non-pain producing
imaging findings will also be discussed to enable the practitioner to
recognize the implications of these abnormalities and thus better
manage the patient. The seven categories of bone diseases will be
covered.
