A group of designers in Pittsburgh are working on sustainable design projects to beautify the community. They held a meeting to discuss two Green + Screen projects - a design for a vacant lot on Penn Avenue and plans for designs at three new locations. Community members and local organizations will work together on the projects, which use green materials to create architectural screens and landscaping to fill empty spaces and encourage arts and culture.
