A text outline for my speech on the topic "Why Men Can't Get Pregnant". This is for the graded speech for my Public Speaking class.

1. WHY MEN CAN’T GET PREGNANT?

INTRODUCTION
 Meaning of Pregnant:
o Containing a developing embryo, fetus, or unborn offspring within the body.
o Carrying developing offspring within the body.
o It is a state where a women (normally) is carrying a or twin babies for 9
months before deliver, before the babies born into life.
 The topics today will discuss on Why Men Can’t Get Pregnant based on scientific
research and also based on logical thinking.
CONTENTS
1) Men do not have a uterus, vagina, fallopian tube and all of those body parts that
women have.
 Obviously, men cant get pregnant because they do not have those body parts.
How can they get pregnant when they don’t even have the fallopian tube to
release the ovum? Nonsence isn’t?
 It is true that human eggs can be fertilized in a petri dish and then can be
placed back into the uterus for further development.
 And even, based on a research made centuries ago, the scientist found out
that a fetus can be developed in an environment other than uterus; the
abdominal pregnancy.
 Therefore, you must be thinking that there might be a chance for men to get
pregnant using this method. But the answer is no. Eventhough abdominal
pregnancy is possible, but it is a life-treatening condition. So, for the time
being, it is still impossible for a men to get pregnant through abdominal
pregnancy.
2) Men are not used to weaknesses (ie: Morning Sickness)
 When we talk about a man, we always thought that men are strong. We cant
imagine a man with six pack are crying over a cup of maggi early in the

2. morning, or getting nausea all day, fatigue and always go to the toilet to
vomit. Its just like, not the nature of the man as a protector.
 They can’t tolerate all of those feelings. Seriously.
3) Men in a labor room, can he actually endure the pain?
 As you know, delivering a baby is the most painful thing in life that even a
man can’t even endure it.
 There is a video on youtube shows three guys tried a birth simulator to feel
what a mom goes through during the childbirth and it turns out that they
couldn’t endure the pain and gave up in the middle of it.
 By the way, can you even imagine a guy in a labor room, giving birth to a child
and you’re waiting outside of the labor room. And then, suddenly, the guy is
screaming like a woman does. Scary isn’t?
4) Men can’t handle to wake up in the middle of the night to feed the baby.
 If some of them are even hardly wake up for tahajud prayer, what can we
expect more?
 Besides, based on the stories that i read and heard, in most cases, the mom
will get up to feed the baby at night while the daddy will continue sleeping
heavenly without even being bother by the cry of the baby.
CONCLUSION
 Cherish your mother and the mother of your baby. They have been through a lot of
pain, a lot of hard time just to give birth to you and your babies.
 If they nag to you, just be patient and endure all of those nags. That’s just their
nature a woman to keep nagging to someone they care the most. (if they don’t nag,
there must be something wrong. Believe me.)
