3. Cold, hungry, friendless, wandering
the streets
Offered food & shelter by an elderly
man

4. In fear of strangers now, he lived for a
year in complete isolation, stealing
what food he could and spending the
rest of his time avoiding people.
He made his way to Bogota and
continued this pattern.

5. He was spotted by an elderly couple
that was distressed by his skeletal
appearance.
They offered him free room and
board; nursed him back to health;
made no demands on him.
When he was ready, they enrolled him
in private school - life was good.

6. Until he was, at age 12, sodomized by a
male teacher.
He stole money from the school office
and ran away from home.
Returning to old habits, he robbed
and stole to support himself on the
streets until he was arrested as a
teenager for stealing a car.

7. Sentenced to seven years
Brutally gang-rapped on the 2nd day
He spent the next two weeks
murdering the 4 men who raped him.
Prison authorities judged these to be
“self-defense” and only added 2 years
to his sentence.

8. Released from prison, he traveled
throughout the Andes in Ecuador and
Peru, stalking, raping, and murdering
young girls in remote villages.
After approximately 100 murders, he
was caught in Peru by villagers as he
attempted to kidnap a 9-year-old girl.
He was deported to Ecuador where
authorities released him.

9. He continued kidnapping, raping, and
killing young girls until he was again
captured by villagers and turned over to
authorities.

10. “I like the girls in Ecuador.
They are more gentle and
trusting, more innocent.”
“I lost my innocence at age
eight, so I decided to do the
same to as many young girls
as I could.”
All totaled, Pedro Lopez
murdered approximately 300.

relationship, in popular language. These
moms usually aren't candidates for mother of
the year, although they aren't necessarily
abusive either. The common thread seems to
be the sexual element, mothers who were very
seductive, who had many sex partners of which
the son was aware. Of course, the children of
prostitutes are more likely to be exposed to
this type of behavior.”
