This document discusses using the School Technology and Readiness (STaR) Chart to measure a school's progress toward technology goals and discusses Smith Middle School's recent STaR Chart results. The STaR Chart measures progress in key areas like teaching and learning, educator preparation, infrastructure, and administration. Smith Middle School's scores have remained mostly constant but dropped in some areas in 2008-2009. The presentation recommends increasing teacher training, technology support, and infrastructure to improve scores and enhance technology integration.
