2. Materials Used To Build A Teepee Outer layer is made of animal skin or birch bark. The skin is usually bison skin. In the middle are 10 to 12 poles made of wood.

3. How Teepees Are Put Together AndWith What Tools? The Teepees are put together with ropes. For tools they mostly used their hands and hammer.

4. What Teepees Look LikeAndThe Roofs They are a cone shape with poles sticking out the top. Sometimes Indians would paint tribal designs on them. There weren’t roofs but they cut holes in the top for the poles to stick out of the teepees.

10. What Doors Are MadeOf And How they Cook The doors of teepees are made of animal skin. At the top of the teepee there are smoke flaps so they can cook on the fire that is in the middle of it. With the smoke flaps they could control how much smoke to let out.

11. Would teepees work here? I think teepees wouldn’t work here because there isn’t enough animals to hunt and be able to serve. I think we wouldn’t be able to adapt this structure because houses now days are more complex then teepees. Caldwell County Could we adapt this structure to our needs here?
