3. Learning Management System According to the website, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Learning_management_system The definition to a learning management system (LMS) is a software application for the administration, documentation, tracking, and reporting of training programs, classroom and online events, e-learning programs, and training content.(Ellis 2009)
4. Webinar Webinar is short for a web-based seminar that could include a lecture, presentation or workshop that is conducted over the web. Webinars are usually in the form of a speaker with limited audience interaction but audience members do have the opportunity to ask questions. Webinars can also have full participation between the presenter and the audience through telephones and speaker phones which allows convenience to all members.
5. Popular LMS Applications- part 1 Moodle is a learning management system for producing Internet-based course Web sites. It includes activity modules such as forums, resources, journals, quizzes, surveys, choices, assignments and peer-reviewed workshops. 9. My Recommendation & Reasons: My recommendation would be using Moodle ( which stand for Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment) as an e-learning tool. It is free along with many different communities with a broad range of interests. Moodle also has a user- friendly model along with various support systems for those just beginning to use e-learning. Many educators have used this system with great success and speaking over 78 languages in 208 countries.
