1. VCEDA’s 42nd Annual Business Outlook Conference
November 7, 2012, 8:15 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
VOCE Conference Center
5100 Adolfo Rd., Camarillo
As Ventura County’s primary economic advocate, VCEDA has used the BOC to focus on specific economic
issues that affect business in our county. We strive to develop themes and subject matter of critical
importance to the county’s economic vitality. The theme for this year’s BOC is Business and Education:
A partnership for the future.
In a “Meet the Press” style roundtable, we will have leaders from business and education highlight the best
ways to work together to improve academic outcomes and produce a workforce that meets the needs of
Ventura County businesses today and tomorrow.
The Roundtable discussion will be moderated by Lifetime VCEDA Board member Stacy Roscoe and will
include the following representatives from business and education:
Business:
Bill Camarillo, Agromin
Henry Dubroff, Pacific Coast Business Times
Bill Pratt, Kinamed
Gary Wilde, Community Memorial Health System
Education:
Chris Kimball, California Lutheran University
Stan Mantooth, VC Office of Education
Jamillah Moore, VC Community College District
Dick Rush, CSU Channel Islands
The BOC is VCEDA’s premier event and typically attracts between 200-300 business and community
leaders from throughout Ventura County. The BOC also provides an opportunity to enhance your
company’s visibility and network with your colleagues. For more information and/or to make a
