This document provides information on various apps that can be used to create different digital projects using an iPad, including apps for creating movies, podcasts, comic books, presentations, demonstrations, posters, stories, and digital storytelling. It also includes tips for using an iPad and recommends several app websites. The apps allow students to tell stories through photos, create narrated art, make internet radio shows, and develop multimedia stories combining different media.

StoryRobe
A five photo story is a collection of five images which tell a story of some kind
without using supplementary text, audio or video. The five photos should “stand
alone” as a story.
A “Story in 5 Photos” project can include five different photos or images either
captured with a digital camera or located online. Students generally respond to a
prompt or challenge which requires creativity and imagination to complete.
Examples might include:
Tell a story in 5 photos of a favorite fairy tale
Tell a story in 5 photos of a favorite book
Tell a story in 5 photos of a scientific process
13. Digital Storytelling
A digital story is a multimedia movie that combines
photographs, video, animation, sound, music, text,
and often a narrative voice to communicate a
message. A digital story is more than “digital telling,”
it’s not just a “tell me the facts” presentation. Digital
stories often use music as well as narrative with
visual imagery in emotionally powerful ways.
