Fateh Saleh  --  Classroom management project reflection<br />Introduction:working with a group, sharing experiences can lead to a better understanding of the subject. We participated in studying the theory. We co operated in designing a board that high light active students. We also decided on the points that we are going to present to our colleagues. <br />The group experience:<br />First of all, we assigned the work that each one of us should do. When the work is completed, it should be sent through e-mails to every member of the group. Then we met and connected each portion of the work in one coherent subject.<br /> The group meeting:<br />We sent and received the tasks through e-mail. After that we met at the college to decide on the details. The meeting was on line to discuss on the way we are going to present the subject. <br /> My contribution to the group work:<br />My job was to surf the internet to looking for and choose suitable pictures for the visual aid. Then I participated in the design of it.   <br />My reflection:<br />The theory’s importance is helping teachers decrease  student misbehavior .The principles of the theory is to promote desired behaviors through positive reinforcement. Some undesired behaviors need to be modified through giving a model of student life through encouragement, until we reach the disappearance of those behaviors. Punishment does not always help to decrease undesired behaviors. We can apply reinforcement of good behaviors in classroom by praising student work and giving immediate phrases of reward, extra marks, or others. On the other hand, we can eliminate bad behaviors by involving students in group work, and leading with promises of some kind of rewards.     <br />

Fateh reflection

  • 1. Fateh Saleh -- Classroom management project reflection<br />Introduction:working with a group, sharing experiences can lead to a better understanding of the subject. We participated in studying the theory. We co operated in designing a board that high light active students. We also decided on the points that we are going to present to our colleagues. <br />The group experience:<br />First of all, we assigned the work that each one of us should do. When the work is completed, it should be sent through e-mails to every member of the group. Then we met and connected each portion of the work in one coherent subject.<br /> The group meeting:<br />We sent and received the tasks through e-mail. After that we met at the college to decide on the details. The meeting was on line to discuss on the way we are going to present the subject. <br /> My contribution to the group work:<br />My job was to surf the internet to looking for and choose suitable pictures for the visual aid. Then I participated in the design of it.  <br />My reflection:<br />The theory’s importance is helping teachers decrease student misbehavior .The principles of the theory is to promote desired behaviors through positive reinforcement. Some undesired behaviors need to be modified through giving a model of student life through encouragement, until we reach the disappearance of those behaviors. Punishment does not always help to decrease undesired behaviors. We can apply reinforcement of good behaviors in classroom by praising student work and giving immediate phrases of reward, extra marks, or others. On the other hand, we can eliminate bad behaviors by involving students in group work, and leading with promises of some kind of rewards. <br />
