Dr. David Johnson Tampa

An occupational and environmental medicine specialist, Dr. David R. Johnson currently works as a professor at the University of South Florida. Educated at the Wright State University School of Medicine, he completed an internship in family medicine before being designated flight surgeon and chief of the Primary Care Clinic at the U.S. Air Force base in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. After a period in private practice, Dr. David R. Johnson fulfilled a residency in occupational and environmental medicine and went on to direct the Mercy Occupational Health Center in Ohio. He moved to Florida in the mid-1990s, and subsequently took on various responsibilities with the Florida Department of Health
