This document provides instructions for two papers on strategic planning for a healthcare organization. For the first paper, students are asked to develop a SWOT analysis of their case study organization and address how the organization's mission, policies, and strategic planning align with addressing a particular issue. For the second paper, students must explain the need for alternative strategic plans given policy changes, examine how policy sources impact the need for flexibility, and recommend alternatives for their case study organization. Both papers require using evidence and citing sources, and should be in APA format.

1. Two different papers
Continue analyzing the situation that your case study's
healthcare organization faces. In this milestone, you will
continue to evaluate the impact of the mission and vision of the
healthcare organization's strategic plan. You will also consider
how the organization's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and
threats affect the environmental factors that confront the
healthcare organization.
Develop a SWOT analysis of the healthcare organization. Be
sure to address the following:

could impact an organization's strategic plan. After reflecting
on your Module Two journal assignment, discuss why
developing alternative strategic plans is important in order to
meet the policy changes in the healthcare environment. In your
paper, address the following:

organization. Use scholarly and peer-reviewed sources to

Examine industry policy changes and the need to develop a
flexible strategic plan
, specifically, how the source of the policy (such as federally

for the healthcare organization in your case study. Be sure
these recommendations address the specific policy issue
