3 Environment Changes
that Uncluttered my
Mind and Life
1. Take Everything Off:
  Time Spent: 3 minutes
  Result: Sharpened Focus at the Task at Hand

                                   I would only put one task at a
                                   time on the table.

                                   For example, if I’m working
                                   on brainstorming new ideas, I
                                   would only put my
                                   brainstorming material on the
                                   desk.

                                   How to take everything off
                                   in
                                   3 min?
                                   Grab a box, dump everything inside
                                   (if work at a office)

                                   Move everything to on top of your
                                   bed (if in college). You’ll move it later.
2. Simplicity at First Sight:
                Time Spent: 5 minutes
                Result: Return home happy
                 Imagine returning home,
                 getting to the front door,
                 inserting the key, opening the
                 door and the first thing you
                 see is clutter, messiness, and
                 disorganization.

                 For working adults, this is the
                 moment of transitioning from
                 work to home every day.

                 For college students, we go
                 back to our dorms multiple
                 times a day.

                 Each time, what is waiting for
                 you when you open the door?

                 Make it positive.
                 Make it simple.
3. Clean Icons:
            Time Spent: 6 minutes
            Result: Task Efficiency & Compliments :)
            If you don’t have a smartphone with
            apps, you will in the near future.
            Don’t let it get cluttered.

            If you already have one, did you
            organize it that fits the way that your
            brain thinks?

            How many times do we open up our
            phones?

            Each time we open our phones up,
            it should be an AWESOME
            EXPERIENCE.

            Organized icons might not be an
            AWESOME experience for you, but
            at least it will not be a frustrating
            one.
