What the hell, I gave up a permanent job! Hired… The answer was yes so we hired a “maker of tech.”
5 months… After this we spent a bit of time going round in circles and up blind alleys…
2011 scrazzl v.1 is born…
5 Lessons learned... That’s our story to date now here are some hard lessons we learned along the way…
#1 Don’t make it, fake it… Technology is easy, its getting people to pay for technology that’s hard. Show customers early and listen to what they say…

#2 Talk to customers who matter…
Avoid Reality check #1: we live in a global economy don’t waste your time with links in a global chain.
#3 Hire champions Reality check #2: people invest in people, ideas are secondary…
Even if you have to give a bit away… Seriously, hire the best you can find, even if you have to sell the family jewels…
#4 Discuss with everyone… Ideas are not static they evolve and talking to people will only help…
Even granny… Make sure to constantly refine your value proposition…
#5 Exercise
Life in a start-up is crazy so don’t go crazy. Look after yourself and find something apart from work that you love doing…
