Profile:
I am pursuing BEng (Hons.) Computer Hardware and Software Engineering, second year from Coventry
University, have already completed a 2-year diploma in Computer Engineering and I am searching for an
engineering internship that will help me to gain the actual working skills and knowledge such that I can give a
good start to my career and gain quality experience.
Skills:
Technical Engineering Skills:
o Good programming skills in ‘C++’ and good with ‘UML’ diagrams
Developed a program to investigate the effects of digitally sampling analogue waveforms
Developed a parking project which calculates the parking cost according to the time and
date the car gets IN and OUT of the parking area
o Proficient knowledge in ‘C’
I designed and built a Light Sensing Robot and a Line Following Robot using PIC18F4520
microprocessor
o Proficient knowledge of ‘BASIC’
I have programmed PIC16C57 microprocessor to program a Boe-Bot (Parallax Inc.) and
scored an A grade and stood among TOP 5 in the class.
o Proficient with assembly language ‘SPIM’
Studied the PC version of SPIM known as ‘PCSPIM’ in Computer Engineering diploma
o Good knowledge of VHDL (the hardware descriptive language)
o Knowledge of designing a Printed Circuit Board (PCB)
o Proficient knowledge with UNIX environment
o Familiar with networking - TCP/IP (CISCO)
o Proficient knowledge of PSpice and Multisim to build electronic circuits virtually
o Basic knowledge of JAVA and MATLAB
Communication and Writing skills:
o Participated in various debate competitions and group discussions in school time which
enhanced my verbal skills
o Presented my thoughts and views at the college level on topics like Green Chemistry, Media as
a watch dog and more thus improving my presentation skills
o Have flair of writing and many of my articles were published in the school and college annual
magazines
Leadership Skills:
o I was the vice-captain in my school for two years and was in charge of organizing various
activities which were successfully presented to all
o I was the leader of my group in Embd. Microprocessors group project recently and successfully
designed and built the light sensing and line following robots.
Fully competent with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, with slight knowledge of Excel
2. Education:
2011 – Present BEng Computer Hardware and Software Engineering

(Second Year – Embd. Microprocessor group project (88% till date) United Kingdom
direct entry) Programming for Engineers (92.5% till date)
Operating systems and security
(Expect a First class Analogue and Digital electronics (80% till date)
honors ) Engineering Management
Network systems and architectures
2009 – 2011 Diploma in Computer Engineering
Some Modules Include- Ansal Institute of Technology,
(Completed 2 years) Calculus (A) New Delhi, India
Logic and computing devices (B)
(GPA: 2.884 out of 4 University Physics (B) (in collaboration with
equal to 72%) Engineering Mechanics (B) North Dakota State University,
Computer Architecture (B) United States of America)
Electrical circuits (B)
Projects and Achievements:
Gained a Top 3 position in the Science state level exhibitions for the theme ‘Educational Technology’
where I demonstrated how studies can be made interactive using the computer technology and
everyone can access it with just a click sitting miles away
Scored an ‘A’ grade in junior school for programming ‘PIC16C57’ microprocessor in BASIC to perform
various instructions as following a specific path, like of a square, rectangle, or some shape and many
more using LED’s to flash them in a pattern, displaying a pattern of numbers using 7 line segments,
basically I had to program a Boe-bot (robot) to perform various instructions. (Parallax Inc.)
Made a parking project in C++ which calculates the parking cost according to the time and date the
car gets IN and OUT of the parking area, where the program saves the time and date when the car
gets in and saves the time and date when it gets out as different files and computes them to evaluate
the appropriate parking cost.
Programmed ‘PIC18F4520’ microprocessor using ‘C’ to design and build a Light Sensing Robot and a
Line Following Robot. The links to the respective video’s are:
