HELP SHEET ASSIGNMENT
The purpose of this assignment is to create a help sheet that will allow students to become more
familiar with the Googledocs document program. You will create a help sheet on a specific topic
and present it to the class.
You will use the Googledocs document program to complete this assignment. You may use any
format you wish to create your help sheet, but your assignment must adhere to the following:
1) the font used should be Times New Roman 12 point
2) your name and topic should be at the top of your document. Bold them so they stand out.
3) use point form to break down the steps of the topic you are presenting. Do not use
paragraphs.
Your teacher will allow you to pick a topic. Once you have your topic, create your document
following the instructions given by your teacher. When complete, you will present your
document to the class.
In order to create your document, you may have to use the Help feature of the program. Google
docs allows you to type in key words to help you find answers to your query, but you will have
to read through the results and determine what you wish to use for your answer.
You may use the teacher as a source to help you in looking through the Help feature, but do not
depend on the teacher to provide you with answers. You may work with each other, but each
student will have their own topic and help sheet.
There is usually more than one way to complete a task in a document. Your sheet should
encompass all ways to complete a task (menu selection, toolbar icons, keyboard shortcuts).
