• Non-interoperable data among first-responders in
emergency management sector:

7. OBJECTIVES
The project target outcome is an integrative and modular ontology for
establishing a common knowledge structure between all the first responders
involved in an emergency, but being compliant with legacy international data
formats exchanged in the European Union as long as being seamlessly
integrated within current SOA-based Emergency Management Systems.
• Detailed S/T objectives:
– O1: Architecture to solve interoperability problems in current SOA-
based Emergency Management Systems, at a European level.
– O2: Modular interoperable data model.
• O2.1: Core Framework data model.
• O2.2: Transversal (spatial, temporal) & Vertical (domain-specific)
models.
– O3: Mediation components (transparent integration in legacy
systems).
– O4: Integrated system prototype.
