How to use TikaTok
1. TikaTok TikaTok is a website that teaches you how to write, illustrate and create books. It is a step by step process that easily demonstrates the method of producing a simple book. The website provides a proper layout to follow while the you can write the content, and choose your own images for your book. Once finished, you are given the chance to publish your own book and therefore you can own your own hardcopy.
2. TikaTok Main Page The main TikaTok page consists of 8 main sections to choose from: The first is the Home page, which leads you to create your own book. The Studio section allows you to open projects, view your own drawings and directs you to the community gallery as well. The Bookshelf section lets you see your finished books, your favourite books from other users, and book information. The Friends sections allows you to view and add other users to your TikaTok account. The Clubs section is where you can join TikaTok groups that you find interesting. You are also allowed to create your own groups for others to join. The Profile section holds all of your information. The Events section shows upcoming events and contests. The Shop section is where you can buy gift cards for TikaTok.
3. Home Page The Home Page displays other peoples work for you to look at. It also has a toolbar that shows the different pages you can observe by clicking on them. To create a book, all you have to do is click on the â Start a Book â button and begin!

5. Toolbar Add a page to lengthen your book. Remove page to shorten your book. Choose background colour. Change the page design. Add writing to your page. Add images to your page.
6. StorySpark If you are still having trouble coming up with a theme then StorySpark should help. All you have to do is pick one of the many subjects on the StorySpark page. Then StorySpark will match your subject with possible storylines. You then select whichever one you prefer and StorySpark will write the story for you. You are still able to choose names for your characters and the illustrations for your book.
7. Title Page Choose a title for your book. Then decide if you want friends to help you write it. Choose an image for the cover of the book, and then write the title and authorâs name on it. Note : At the bottom of every page are helpful tips on how to design your page.
8. Dedication The dedication page allows you to add a personal note to anyone you wish at the beginning of your book. Personalize your writing by choosing a size, colour and style to your letters.
9. Fill Pages Upload images and stretch/shrink them to your desired size. Then decide on the perfect text to add to your photos.
10. End Page The final page is reserved for you. Write a bit about yourself, or add a message to finish off your project.
