U M C G A L T M E T R I C S een UMCG dashboard waar o.a • “mentions” gerelateerd aan UMCG publicaties worden verzameld en gevisualiseerd, georganiseerd op de volgende niveau’s: • corporate UMCG, • Individuele auteurs • afdelingen, • onderzoeksinstituten • onderzoeksprogramma’s. Dit dashboard is beschikbaar voor UMCG-medewerker om individuele overzichten, monitoring en attenderingen mogelijk te maken

- 23. • Vergroten van de bewustwording van de effecten van communicatie over onderzoek en wetenschappelijke publikaties op de vindbaarheid en de profilering van wetenschappers en hun onderzoek • Vergroten bewustwording van alternatieve , aanvullende methoden van het meten van de “impact” van wetenschappelijk onderzoek en bijbehorende publicaties • verkennen welke rol de gevonden data over UMCG-publikaties van Altmetrics kan spelen in het UMCG, voor de individuele onderzoeker, zijn/haar afdeling, het onderzoeksinstituut en het onderzoeksprogramma. • Het in kaart brengen van alle stakeholders in het UMCG waar Altmetrics mogelijke een rol kan spelen (o.a. SEP/KUOZ evaluaties & societal impact) • Bijdragen aan de discussie over het gebruik van “bibliometrics” en deze aanvullende “altmetrics” in wetenschaps-evaluaties en –beoordelingen lokaal en landelijk.
