Executive Summary
Business Summary: Canopy is doing for iPhone accessories what Apple did for the mobile phone
by creating an application and developer friendly hardware platform that drives both hardware and app
sales. Our dual channel revenue model targets the annual $84.6 billion by 2018 smartphone accessory
market and the $25B in revenue per year and growing dollar app market. Canopy’s key differentiation is our
hardware platform which bridges these two disparate vertical revenue streams. This hardware platform
business model drives effective promotion and sales to consumers via third party app developers. Based
on the added value this business model offers the Apple ecosystem, Canopy was awarded the coveted MFi
License (Made For iPhone) status by Apple, a designation that only a very small fraction of technology
companies receive. Canopy is revenue stage and well-positioned with multiple patents pending, scalable
offshore manufacturing and established domestic and international distribution partners.

Disruptive Technology: With working prototypes in hand, the Canopy Sensus is the world’s first

touch-sensitive, app-enhancing smartphone case and is in the final stage of product development.
Sensus extends “gesture centric” capacitive touch control that users are already familiar with on phone’s
screen to the sides and entire back surface of the case. This effectively adds a third dimension of user
interface to the iPhone, providing game, app and utility developers with more ways to elevate software
user experience for the 320+ Million iPhone users. Sensus effectively scales to all mobile products.
Canopy Sensus rolls out for iPhone 4 and 5 in the third quarter. iPod touch and iPad mini in the 1st
quarter of 2014 and Samsung in the 3rd quarter of 2014.

Completed Products: Adding tremendous potential to the vast smartphone software market,
Canopy introduced Kapok as our first developer-friendly appcessory hardware platform bridge. Kapok
fully leverages our MFI license from Apple, interfacing with iPhone’s proprietary 30-pin connector. In
concert with our proprietary software, the Camera Tools app, Kapok elevates iPhone into a full feature
point-and-shoot camera. The release of Kapok led to a singular message from the developer community:
“We love it, but we want even more command lines.” Sensus directly addresses that feedback extending
Kapok’s potential. The Kapok realized our core competence: Building platform-based hardware bridges
to the software market.

Product Pipeline: Our pipeline includes numerous new products which continually expand user
experience, introducing new app developer platforms and extending the value proposition of existing
technologies.

Management: Andrew Kamin-Lyndgaard holds a Master’s degree in advertising and illustration
from Brooks Institute and has a comprehensive background in photography, advertising and production.
Through his artistic understanding of form and function and his marketing knowledge, Mr. KaminLyndgaard brings a breadth of skills to bear in his leadership role as Canopy’s founder and lead
entrepreneur. John Deedrick brings over 25 years of professional investment, operations and governance
experience to the team. Numerous experienced strategic partners are working with the company in
manufacturing, product development, branding, positioning, marketing and distribution.

Revenue Potential: Canopy’s key strategic advantage is the creation of developer-friendly hardware
platforms where our proprietary software can rest. Hardware and software together yield multiple
revenue streams from : 1) The hardware platform bridge to third-party developers and their users. 2) Our
own internal proprietary software. This platform-based model will yield more profit through superior
user satisfaction and retention elevating, our position prior to a strategic M&A. 3) Publishing of a stream
of content created by others. 4) Licensing of our proprietary technologies.
