3. Spillways
Water pours down four huge slides
called spillways. The spillways look like
four huge water slides.
5. Power House
The Spillways lead water to the
Power house. The Power House has
turbines and generators.
6. Generators and turbines
The generators use magnets and coils of wire to
make electricity. Connected to the Generators
are the Turbines which are like huge water
wheels.
7. Pylons
Pylons are tall towers made of steel that carry
electricity across the entire country side. Pylons
carry electricity from the power house at the
Dam.
