The DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities is presenting a commissioned project to install nine granite sculptures in a new memorial park located at the entrance to the Blair Road Community Garden in Ward 4. Hunt Laudi Studios and sculptor Barbara Liotta will design, fabricate, and permanently install the abstract sculptural forms using locally quarried grey-black granite. Each sculpture will measure 1 inch wide, 7 inches deep, and 182 inches in height.
