Perturbed by the widespread issue of littering and believing in its complete preventability, students at D A Public School, Karachi launched a three school campaign to educate their peers about the importance of being responsible members of the environment. Through colourful posters, catchy slogans and a play, they drew their audience’s attention towards we can individually “clean up our act”, thus keeping our surroundings clean and healthy.

7. PLAY
A child threw a juice box on the pavement. An old
lady walks by and slips on the juice and hurts
herself very badly.
An on lookers comes and helps her up, thinking why
can’t people throw the garbage in the bin. The
child feels very guilty of her deed. Two
foreigners were shocked to see the child litter
and expressed the bad impression they got from
the scene. In the end, the child realizing her
mistake, promises never to litter again.
