- 4. What I’m going to talk about What does it mean to track everything? What does it mean to track the work done? Does it make for better work?
- 5. What does it mean to track everything?
- 6. The cost of trying is minimal.
- 7. User experience becomes messy.
- 8. Consumer rights become challenging.
- 9. There are technical limitations.
- 10. What does it mean to track the work done?
- 11. The dream of better team productivity.
- 12. Some things you might not want to track.
- 13. Some things are difficult to care for long term.
- 14. Always on, but what for?
- 15. We rarely track externalities.
- 16. Some problems don’t need live data collection.
- 17. Some problems create other problems.
- 18. Some problems need open data.
- 19. Some problems need less data and more trust.
- 20. Data only works when it is understood.
- 21. Data is only one many complex factors.
- 22. Does it make for better work?
- 23. Social contract and real contracts.
- 24. Real leadership also means going beyond data.
- 25. And knowing when to say stop.
- 26. Think about what you want to collect and the means of collection. Engage with your employees. Consider externalities.
