1. Sun collectors save electricity and money.
The interest of Macedonian citizens to mount sun collectors is
growing because by introducing solar thermal collector in a home, the
household saves up to around 2,400 kWh of electrical energy and around

around 600,000, in the republic,
install solar thermal collector in their homes, 144,000kWh of
electricity would be electricity source saved annually which is more than 5 billion denars.
Therefore, this year, the Ministry of Economy in its program for
compensating part of the expenses for buying and installing solar
collector systems, put aside 100,000 euro for subsidizing citizens who
are to install sun collectors.
As the Ministry explains, 30percent of the value of the collectors
or up to 300 euro per family will be subsidized and the investment is
profitable and the profit will be seen in 3 to 5 years, depending on the
type of the collector installed.
"In the course of 2007, 2009, 2011 and 2012, public calls for
compensating part of the expenses for purchase and installment of sun
thermal systems articles on electricity were published. Thus far, 1,901 households have been
subsidized. With the goal to stimulate the use of sun energy in the
country, the Government this year adopted the Program for compensating
part of the expenses for purchased and installed sun thermal collector
systems," the Ministry reminds.
In the budget of the Ministry of Economy for this year are secured
in total 6 million denars for realization of the Program for

2. compensation of part of the expenses for purchase and installation of
solar thermal collectors but no more than 300 euro in denar countervalue
for households in 2013.
Larger inclusion of renewable sources of energy in the energy
consumption is one of the main tesla generator strategic goals of the Government of
Republic of Macedonia in the energy sector. The inclusion of the
renewable sources of energy is significant from aspect of creation of
conditions for safe supply with energy and creation of conditions for
sustainable development in the country, as well as for protection of difference between electric force
and gravitational force the
environment.
