This document provides information about AISK's 1:1 MacBook program including reasons for adopting a 1:1 model, curriculum uses of MacBooks, purchasing options, technical support resources, acceptable use policies, and common software and services used. The key points are: 1) A 1:1 model allows for more student-centered learning, accommodates varied learning styles, and helps students acquire 21st century workforce skills. 2) MacBooks will be integrated into the curriculum and allow anytime access to assignments, information, and learning tools. 3) Technical support is provided through a help desk and insurance is available through CGM Gallagher to cover loss, damage, or breakdown.
