User Testing
We used insights from the Discovery Phase research to produce paper mock-
ups of potential digital tools to provide employment and mental wellbeing
support. We then tested these with various groups of potential users:
• Freelancers, self-employed & start ups in Preston & Glasgow
• Job seekers in London
• Line managers in Aberdeen, London & Orpington
We adapted the tools based on the feedback we received at these user
workshops.
The following section contains these mock-ups. These were designed to test
the functions. We have mocked up potential tools to look real, but this is just
to enable the viewer to visualize the tools in action- we have not done any
work on branding. We have also left parts of the mock-ups blank to show this
is a work in progress and to allow potential users the opportunity to input.

  • 3. User Testing We used insights from the Discovery Phase research to produce paper mock- ups of potential digital tools to provide employment and mental wellbeing support. We then tested these with various groups of potential users: • Freelancers, self-employed & start ups in Preston & Glasgow • Job seekers in London • Line managers in Aberdeen, London & Orpington We adapted the tools based on the feedback we received at these user workshops. The following section contains these mock-ups. These were designed to test the functions. We have mocked up potential tools to look real, but this is just to enable the viewer to visualize the tools in action- we have not done any work on branding. We have also left parts of the mock-ups blank to show this is a work in progress and to allow potential users the opportunity to input.
