3. Committee Objectives
– Building a strong community of people working in
marketing/advertising/PR within EBA member companies; providing
all necessary help in getting new contacts and establishing new
business links and relations between the committee members
– Providing guidance to newcomers, young professionals and all
those who are interested in marketing/advertising/PR, making a
warm welcome to all EBA members to the Marketing Committee
activities
– Assistance in the development of the marketing/advertising/PR
scopes of activity of the EBA member companies
– Further development of the Committee – new initiatives in the form
of groups/working groups; Popularization of EBA Committee
activities within the business community of both Kyiv and Ukraine

4. Achievements of 2009
– Increased the number of active committee members and their
participation in committee meetings
– Launch of the EBA Marketing and PR School in memory of
Robert Reed as an effective educational tool for young marketing
specialists
– Regular positive feedback from committee members about the
results of the meetings in verbal form as well as in form of thank
you notes and letters
– Active cooperation and establishing of business links between
EBA Marketing Committee community and professional
Associations in Marketing/Advertising and PR
– More acknowledged experts in marketing/advertising/PR taking
part in the committee meetings each month, featuring some
special guest speakers from other countries
– Acting as a tool for EBA Marketing Committee members to give
away free materials to other companies (books, magazines,
promotional items)

5. Goals for 2009 -2010
– Presentations of success stories from EBA member companies
and outside experts, exchanges of practical experience and
planning the implementation of projects
– Guidance relating to marketing/advertising/PR, legislative
aspects, resolutions of the State authorities influencing
development and activities in marketing/advertising/PR in
Ukraine; Further development of an active Marketing Committee
community
– Presentations of new technologies that can be used as
innovative marketing tools (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and
other)
– Creation of an archive of the EBA Marketing Committee
materials with open access to all EBA Marketing committee
members

6. Goals for 2009 -2010
– Collaboration with other EBA Committees (joint meetings with
PR Committee, Legal Committee etc. - upon the issuance of the
request for such activities by Committee members)
– Conduct joint projects with the National Advertising Coalition,
Advertising Festivals, National PR Association, National
Marketing Association and other relevant organizations. Taking
an active part in the EBA business community and other related
organizations
– Continue close collaboration with the traditional and online media
in Ukraine. Obtaining more coverage and thus public
acknowledgement of the Committee activities, support in
creation of better brand awareness of the EBA within the media
field in Ukraine
– Conducting training involving professional trainers

7. EBA Marketing Committee
structure
Members
– Marketing/advertising/PR managers and executives, general and
departmental managers of EBA member companies, top
managers of the companies working in marketing/advertising/PR
Meetings
– Held once per month, every third Wednesday of the month,
starting at 17.00. Approximate duration of each meeting: 1,5-2
hours
Draft agenda
– 1 or 2 presentations/mini-training on specific issues (maximum
duration is 35-40 min each), question and answer sessions and
respective discussions in the form of a round table
