  1. We propose to contribute to seven impact-level results. Five of these correspond closely to the sectoral or thematic areas where we are already working, although we have separated out some issues that were previously bundled together in order to more clearly articulate our results chains in health, HIV, water & sanitation, nutrition and education. The sixth proposed area of focus, called ‘exploitation and violence’ in the paper you received, builds on our work in child protection but we propose to increase attention to supportive families and cross-sectoral work in this area, building on the End of Cycle.Similarly, the seventh area of work, called ‘poverty and discrimination’ in the paper you received, builds on our current work on policy advocacy and partnerships for children’s rights, but with a clearer focus on specific results for children and increased attention to the importance of social inclusion, social protection and poverty reduction, as flagged in the QCPR.Human rights and gender equality remain as important normative principles, alongside an increased emphasis on environmental sustainability. For each impact level results for children, UNICEF will contribute to the results for children at the impact level by achieving results at outcomes clustered around:Policies and budgets: including policy, legislation, budgets, standards and evidence.Access and quality of services: including availability, accessibility and quality of necessary commodities and infrastructure; capacity and performance of service-providers; and performance and accountability of institutions.Utilization, behaviour and participation: including supportive social norms; knowledge, awareness and practice of key behaviours; improvement of processes to promote the participation of children, communities and CSOs including demand for services.Humanitarian: Based on the Core Commitments for Children.Outputs UNICEF specific outputs that directly contribute to the outcomes and impact level results
