whether that event serves at least flood of joy to more than one family, then so be
it.
One man who seems to have believed in the good effects of Christmas is the
prominent British writer Charles Dickens, who in 1843 published a novella-Gothic

been dubbed "Christmas Carol", stars Mr. Scrooge, a man of unpleasant
characteristics that because of his addiction towork and his lonely life, does not
usually celebrate Christmas.

Marley, his best friend and partner, who announces the arrival of three spirits
during the night of Christmas, a predictionwhich Scrooge decides to stand

child and youth experiences, the Present, who manages to show how his employee
Bob Cratchit, despite all the obstacles that presents its life, put aside their
problems to celebrate Christmas and finally the Future, a dumb spirit and gloomy
