For past Ocean GIS Forums, full talks were selected for inclusion in the research monograph Ocean Solutions, Earth Solutions. After 2 successful editions, we are now focusing of Learn modules as additional publication outlets for the Forum (e.g., Laura Flessner of TNC, NCAR), as well as a special issue of the Journal of Geography spearheaded by Associate Editor Tim Hawthorne of the U. of Central Florida with Dawn Wright as special issue co-editor.

To achieve NOAA’s vision of Environmental Intelligence we need “Digital Resilience”
In other words, how can we ensure that the data, information and tools that we work so hard to collect, build, and curate are really used, and used effectively?
If we want a resilient world, we need to start with resilient data.
