 •   Start with the end in mind
 •   Do your preparation. Plan your time
 •   Start strong. “You don’t get a 2nd change to make a 1st impression.”
 •   Involve them immediately by asking questions: open -> closed
 •   Create clarity by telling them the session’s objectives and timing
 •   Involve, involve, involve everyone all of the time
 •   Use stories, anecdotes and humor to maintain momentum
 •   Pace yourself and make sure that you end on time
 •   Don’t judge: all comments and opinions are equally valid
 •   Finish strong: summarize key ideas and actions, agree next steps
