5 Points to Consider When Building Dashboards
 1.   Have clear goals for each dashboard
      •   First determine the TAMA (topic, audience, metrics, action)

 2.   Determine if it will be operational, strategic or both?
      •   Frequent viewing vs. trend-based analysis vs. comparisons

 3.   Provide context
      •   Via related reports and new gadgets

 4.   Design for user friendliness and data clarity
      •   Layout is important; choose the right visualization technique

 5.   Start small, think big
      •   Build 1 dashboard for sales management, grow from there

Trend Numbers: Time Series Analysis
   Quarter over Quarter; Month over Month Change
     Compare the growth between different products,
      regions, sales reps, etc.
        •    Show the growth by any segmentation
        •    Look at the growth week over week, month over month,
             quarter over quarter, year over year, same quarter last
             year…

     Choose User Defined Number -> Trend Number
