The recipient of a JD magna cum laude from the University of Miami Law School, David Simon began his career as an attorney in the corporate practice of Rodgers & Wells and Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison before transitioning to a career in the financial industry in the mid-1980s. After three years specializing in risk arbitrage research for a pair of New York-based firms, Spear, Leeds & Kellogg and Mercury Securities, David Simon founded the alternative investment firm Twin Capital Management for which he serves as the managing member and CIO of its hedge funds.
