2. IP= Intellectual Property
Refers to creations: it can be literary, inventions, artistic
work, symbols, names, images and designs

3. Categories of intellectual
property
Industrial property: includes inventions, trademarks,
designs and geographic indications of source
Copyright: is a legal term giving the authors some rights it
includes literary and art works, for example poems, films,
photograph and sculptures. There are things that aren’t
cover from copyright, some examples are the ideas,
recipes, facts, etc.

4. Ethics
It is a branch of philosophy, is like a concept of good and
bad things, also the right and wrong decisions.

5. WIPO: world international property
organization
It is a branch of the United Nations.
It is dedicated to create balance in the in the international
intellectual property
Wipo was established in the 1967 to promote protection to IP
Its headquarters is in Geneva and its director is Francis Gurry

Published works is more permissible than using unpublished works.
Amount: Percentage of work used. Critical or key portions of the
work.
Effect: use harm’s the creator current or potential profits. Profit financially
