I am a spatial ecologist and GIS expert currently with the Mediterranean Institute of Advanced Studies (CSIC-Spain). My interests include the spatial modelling of species distributions and human activities, with a focus on marine environment, as well as on quantitative methods and computational ecology. During the last years, I have been also working to bridge the gap between science and policy by participating in marine spatial planning and integrated coastal management. I am actively involved in the implementation of spatial data infrastructures to commit with the principles of open data and open science.
