Public Service Announcement for Biology 100

1. Today only 6% of the earth’s surface is covered by Rainforest’s.
1 ½ acres of rainforest are lost every second from deforestation.
Almost half of the world’s animals and plants will be extinct or
severely devastated over the next 25 years due to Rainforest
deforestation.
Solution:
Restore damaged ecosystems by planting trees on land where
forests have been cut down.
