Dear Eighth Grade Parents and Guardians:
Congratulations! Your middle school student is about to move to the next rung of the educational ladder
– high school. This has been a very busy and exciting year for the eighth graders. We have planned
activities to make your son/daughter’s final days at Perry Heights Middle School memorable one.
An eighth grade party will be held on Friday, May 16th, 6:30 - 8:30pm in the school cafeteria. Eighth
grade sponsors and PTSA chaperones will supervise the party. Only eighth grade students from Perry
Heights will be admitted. Please help us by having your eighth graders here at 6:30pm and picking
them up promptly at 8:30pm.
PARENTS are invited to attend “Class Day” on Friday, May 23rd at 8:45am. This day is to honor the
Perry Heights Middle School class of 2014 and their families. The program will be held in the gymnasium
and seating is limited. A reception will be held following the program. As parents, you will want to
attend “Class Day”. After the reception, you may take your freshman student to lunch. We need the slip
at the bottom of this page filled out and returned to his or her homeroom teacher before you leave
with your child that Friday. We ask that students not wear jeans or shorts to this program. You may
park at Westwood Baptist Church (on Boehne Camp) and a shuttle bus will be provided.
Also, if your child is going to Holiday World, their permission slip and money was due into the
office April 11
th
.
