Summer portfolio project
1. Danielle Airington
Exploring My Goal Path
I AM A STRONG AND LOVING WOMAN MAKING DREAMS COME TRUE FOR
BOTH MYSELF AND MY FAMILY
2. Three of my favorite assignments
Blog Reflection: Do you know what you don’t know
•My mind works differently after surgery things I thought I knew I know now I don’t.
•Taught me to really learn for retention.
•Learning how to correct my learning past.
Mid-Course Assignment
•I learned if I had set myself up to fail or succeed.
•Able to restructure myself to reach further.
•Had to be honest with myself.
Preferred Learning Style
•Able to actually label my learning style.
•Discovered that where my heart calls me to study so does my head.
•I know I can reach for my heart now.
3. Three of my favorite JEs
JE 11: Accomplishment of your most important goal/dream….Seeing the
dream come true in the writing was very powerful for me. *Imagine the
feeling I will have on that day. Being in the moment as I wrote, joy.
JE 13: *Shocking to see where my time really is spent. *Learned what is
wasted and what is useful. *How to restructure my time was the most
valued lesson.
JE 29: Understanding Emotions: *This has been an issue for me most of my
life because most emotions came with confusion and pain. * I know I say
this to much however post surgery my emotions seem to me more real, no
blurred lines. * honesty again in this JE, I found it easier to be honest with
myself.
4. Week 2
I think this could be the one week I
enjoyed the most. This is because in this
week I learned what I thought I knew I did
not and how memory works. But most of
all because of JE 11. The crystal ball on my
graduation day. That for me was a
wonderful writing experience.
5. Three lessons I will carry with me……….
Metacognition
Preferred Learning Style
Stress
6. Self-Assessment
Believing in myself has improved by miles. I knew I was lacking in that area
in many subjects but not so much in life. I was wrong for not believing has
finger in all aspects of my life. I am much better now and getting better
still.
