2. SRM UNIVERSITY Providing quality education since 1985, SRM University has established itself as one of the country’s best private Universities. ACHIEVEMENTS SRM University Successfully hosted the 98th Indian Science Congress which was presided by Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and was attended by six Nobel laureates who gave guest lectures on their field of expertise. As per DNA - ZEE News Survey in 2010, SRM University was ranked within the top 13 Private and Government colleges in India. SRM University has been accredited by NAAC (NATIONAL ASSESSMENT AND ACCREDITION COUNCIL) with a score equivalent to 5 star rating. Electronics and Communication Engineering Program of SRM University is the first and only in India to get accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET.
4. AARUUSH Aaruush is the National Level Techno-Management Fest of SRM University. It consists of a series of technical and management events categorized under eight domains namely ROBOGYAN, YUDDHAME, MAGEFFICIE, PRAESENTATIO, KONSTRUKTION, FUNDAZ, X-ZONE and BLUE BOOK. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam officially inaugurated Aaruush in the year 2007 which witnessed nearly a participation of 4500 students from all over the country . Aaruush’10 witnessed a collective participation of over 8500 students from over 23 states of the country which has taken it to a higher level in competence, quality and national presence thus establishing Aaruush as a quality brand.

6. GUEST LECTURES Listening is an art and it can do wonders, the plethora of guest lectures ranging from cloud computing to nanotechnology are just mere examples from the legacy of Aaruush. Last year we collaborated with Siemens India, VSSC, CISCO, ISRO and a few more esteemed organizations.
7. EXHIBITIONS Technical and Defence exhibitions have always been a part of Aaruush, with the display of the Software expo to Arjun Tank. Aaruush’10 had the Indian Coast Guard, Indian Air force, DDGQ, CVRDE and OTA.
