The Different Types of Embroidery Fonts
Everyone has a favorite or preferred font and there are thousands of options available in the market today for
you to choose an unique design. First, let’s look into what exactly is a font. Knowing what a font is will not only
widen your perspective but also make sure you get the most out of your design.

Embroidery fonts are the length, width and formation of alphabets and numbers used to form words or
monogrammed symbols for your work wear or other materials. Embroidery fonts make use of the same
technology that the embroidery machine employs in order to get the embroidery onto the fabric thereby saving
a lot of time and money and offering a more accurate end product.

Tradition embroidery fonts include Book Script, Tahoma, Times New Roman or a variety of Serif fonts. These
traditional embroidery fonts can be appreciated for their simplicity and recognition. These embroidery fonts are
commonly used by companies as a standard style and they also meet the required size and form for traditional
styles that you can easily identify.

The fancier embroidery fonts such as Handy Script, Royale, Cayman and Chancery offer a cursive style
that is very appealing and extremely appreciated by people around the world. These embroidery fonts are
professional but come with a flare as well. Generally, these font styles tend to look italicized in format.

There are more playful embroidery fonts also available such as Kindergarten, Energy, Black Light, Speedy
and Pixie. They provide a unique appearance that is not only playful but also elegant at the same time. These
are just a few examples of the unique embroidery fonts that you will appreciate for working on clothes. This
particular font is ideal for embroidery patches and name badges.

Bold scripts such as Round Block, Urbane, Helvetica Bold, Informal and College are some of the bold scripts
available today. These embroidery fonts stand out from the crowd. They are certainly a great addition to any
wardrobe or garment and makes a bold statement that is unquestionably beautiful as well as professional.

Columba, Bauhaus, Impress, Hobo, Detex, Super Block, Seagull and many other font styles promote a very
unique look with every item of clothing. Whether it is used for name patches or for a specially designed
company logo, embroidered designs encourage a more positive experience. Ideal for any occasion, you will
appreciate the variety of choices available for you to choose from.
